I have all but dropped off of the DeviantArt radar as of late (okay, May '08) for various reasons.  Let's list these, shall we?

1.)  COLLEGE.  And I thought high school was a pain.  Argh.  It's been stressful, but fun.

2.) The Art Iz Ded.  I've lost all my motivation to work on art anymore.  The last project I did outside of my one college art class I've had was months ago.  Eventually something will click and make me want to work again, but so far...ugh. I can't make myself CARE is the problem.  It doesn't matter if I improve, finish a project, ANYTHING.  This is the art block to end all art blocks.  

3.) Anime.  It kills time.  And requires the purchase of DVDs.  Avatar, Wolf's Rain, Noein, Death Note, Darker than Black, and Fullmetal Alchemist are love.

4.) Writing.  While the art has died, I'm forcing myself (perhaps not entirely) to work on completing Andonalis.  The characters just won't leave me alone.  My goal is to have a decent (emphasis on decent) draft of the ENTIRE thing done by end of '09.  I just spent a couple hours reformatting the chapters into real chapters and not those little DA snippets.  Forty, fifty some chapters became about twelve in Book One.  Today the separate parts (books) got titles, which I thought about doing earlier and stupidly threw away my ideas for the names.  Of course this is the ONLY sheet of paper I've thrown away from all the scribbled ideas.  The ones I came up with today sound better than what I had before, so maybe it was a good thing.

5.) Life in general.  What can I say?

So all's been pretty quiet on my page lately.

Alright, just to catch everyone up here:  I just graduated high school a week or so ago.  Strangely enough, it feels like it's been a year.  I've been pretty braindead lately.  I've got a job starting soon that runs me almost up until college, so I'm gonna be a busy girl.  I log in just about everyday, so if you need to get ahold of me, leave me a comment or note.  I do check out everyone's galleries, I just rarely get a chance to comment.

I finally did some updates to my profile and such today.  It was starting to get a bit dusty.  oO'

I've been keeping myself busy lately. I've finished a painting or two that I'll post eventually.  I've been spending time writing notes for Andonalis and organizing things for our school's art show.  I've got a biology test to study for as well.  

I'm getting closer to coming back.  ..I think.

Sol's tired.

I've been running around like a fool and seriously neglecting DA.  Unfortunately that pattern's going to continue until at least the end of March.  I've been pretty busy lately..

Reasons Solemn has been Busy
1) SCHOOL..@@'  Papers, tests, and all that fun
2)Upcoming art show and AP portfolios
3)A new puppy..He's only 3 months so he has to be watched constantly
4)SE and Andonalis..haven't got to write much lately but I've been working on notes..mostly in my head

I've got work to get done so this will be short- I still check DA daily and even though I don't get to comment or even log in most days, I still keep up with everyone's art.  I haven't forgotten you guys!  I'll be back as soon as I can.

Silver Eclipse is a fantasy story that takes you to a world with plently of secrets and the neccesary bad guy to the plot that has to be brought down. It is definitely a work in process.  It is the first project of its type that I've ever attempted.  It's by far the longest thing I have written and the only story to which I have dedicated this much time and planning.  Since I am posting as I write, parts of the plot are subject to change.  You are essentially reading the first draft.  There probably won't be many changes, but they are possible.  Start the journey here-www.deviantart.com/deviation/3…
Andonalis, a fantasy story with a touch of sci-fi, was started with no planning except for a couple of
characters and a tidbit of their past.  I will continue it and hopefully finish it in the future, but for the time being most of my focus is going to be on Silver Eclipse.  I need to take some time to do some planning for this story.  Read the story so far? -www.deviantart.com/deviation/3…

After 8w 22h and way too long I'm finally back on DA.

In case you're curious where I disappeared to...I got a virus while browsing the site.  So I was a little reluctant to come back. xD

Just out of curiosity, anybody else have any problems with DA lately?
